About Lina Yoo

Lina was born and raised in San Jose, California to Korean immigrant parents and is fluent in the Korean language. She attended the University of California San Diego, where she obtained a degree in Communications. Lina went on to work as a litigation paralegal for a boutique personal injury law firm in the South Bay, where she developed her passion for fighting to get justice for the “little guy.”

Lina attended law school at the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law, graduating Magna Cum Laude. During her time in law school, Lina served as the Chief Technical Editor for the University of the Pacific Law Review, Volume 55 and worked as a legal writing Teaching Assistant. Lina also won three awards for obtaining the top grade in each of her legal writing classes and received the Stauffer Charitable Trust Writing Competition Award. During her final year of law school, Lina served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Troy L. Nunley at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California.

During her free time, Lina enjoys practicing Pilates, working out, and spending time with her family and two Yorkshire Terriers. Lina also enjoys watching true crime documentaries and trying new restaurants with her partner.
