About Cassidy Jensen
Cassidy was born and raised in a small town, American Falls, Idaho. She moved to California in 2012 to attend Chapman University, where she obtained a degree in political science. While in school, Cassidy worked as the student Interfaith Center President and enjoyed doing extensive work with students and community members of all religions. She competed as a member of Chapman University’s Nationals Forensic team, where she won both regional and national awards. She was named Senior of the Year in 2016 and graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Cassidy went on to attend BYU Law School in Provo, Utah. While in law school, Cassidy was able to work for law firms in both Utah and Hong Kong. She worked with victims of sexual assault and domestic violence in Utah and California, receiving both the Wiley W. Manuael Award for Pro Bono Legal Services by the California Bar Association and the Outstanding Service Award by the Legal Aid Society of San Diego.
Prior to joining Silva Injury Law, Cassidy practiced Family Law at McCormick Barstow.
Cassidy is certified as a sexual trauma responder and has enjoyed volunteering with various organizations which assist and aid victims of sexual and domestic violence. Her own experience as a victim of sexual assault has shaped her life in many ways and fuels her passion to advocate and fight for survivors of abuse and violence. When Cassidy is not working, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her husband and dog, going to the beach, dancing, and cooking. Cassidy loves being part of the Silva Injury Law family and is committed to fighting for justice for each and every client she has the opportunity to work with.
