SANTA MARIA, CA (November 11, 2025) — The Santa Maria Police Department has identified the motorcyclist who died following a collision with a car on Saturday. The victim was 30-year-old Vincent Hargadon of Santa Maria.
Accident Details: Emergency crews from the Santa Maria Police Department, Santa Maria Fire Department, and American Medical Response responded to the crash at around 10:58 a.m. on November 9 in the 600 block of East Boone Street. The collision involved a car and a motorcycle.
When officers arrived, they found Hargadon in the roadway. Paramedics immediately began life-saving efforts and transported him to Marian Regional Medical Center. Despite medical intervention, Hargadon later died from his injuries.
Investigation: The Santa Maria Police Department’s Traffic Unit is investigating the crash to determine what caused the collision between the motorcycle and the car. Police said the circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation.
Authorities have not released information about the driver of the car involved or whether any citations have been issued.
