VICTORVILLE, CA (October 20, 2025) — A serious traffic collision involving a motorcycle and a Dodge Ram pickup left a male rider with critical injuries Monday afternoon in the city of Victorville, according to local authorities.
Accident Details: The crash occurred just before 3:45 p.m. at the intersection of La Mesa Road and El Rio Road. Emergency crews arrived at the scene and located a gray Honda motorcycle in the eastbound lanes with visible major damage to its front end. The rider was found nearby, lying in the roadway with personal belongings such as a helmet, backpack, and shoes scattered around the crash site.
The other vehicle, identified as a 2013 white Dodge Ram 1500, sustained significant damage to the rear driver’s side. Its rear wheel had been dislodged from the axle, leaving the truck partially disabled and resting along the curb.
Paramedics provided initial treatment at the scene before transporting the motorcycle rider to a nearby hospital for further care. Authorities have not yet released his name or provided an update on his condition.
Investigation: As of Monday evening, La Mesa Road remained closed in both directions between King Canyon Road and Amargosa Road to allow officers to conduct a full investigation. The Victorville Police Department is leading the effort to determine what caused the collision.
