Two Injured in I-95 Multivehicle Crash

Nash County, NC (June 29, 2025) – A multivehicle collision in the early hours of Sunday morning on Interstate 95 left a woman in critical condition and her passenger seriously injured.

Accident Details: According to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 3:15 a.m. near the N.C. Highway 58 exit and involved a semi-truck, a Freightliner, and a white Chevy Silverado. The exact sequence of impact remains under investigation, but early reports indicate that alcohol and speed may have been contributing factors.

The woman driving the Chevy Silverado suffered severe injuries and was listed in critical condition. Her male passenger also sustained serious injuries but is expected to recover. The driver of the semi-truck had only minor injuries and did not require hospital transport.

Investigation and Legal Considerations: Collisions involving multiple vehicles and potential impairment are among the most complex to unravel from a legal perspective. Establishing fault is essential for possible personal injury claims, particularly when catastrophic injuries occur.

Investigators will examine toxicology testing, seed analysis, video surveillance, and witness statements.

Depending on the outcome of the investigation, the injured may be able to file a personal injury claim

I wish the injured a fast recovery, and my thoughts are with their family during this difficult time.
