Tulare County, CA (August 7, 2025) – A teenager died Thursday afternoon after colliding with a PG&E truck in a rural area north of Orosi.
Incident Details: The California Highway Patrol reported the crash occurred just before 1 p.m. at Avenue 424 and Road 120. Investigators say the teen driver failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a PG&E crane truck. The teen, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene. The PG&E truck driver suffered serious injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Investigation: The California Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the circumstances of the collision. At this time, authorities do not believe alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
