Smith County, TX (July 6, 2025) – Three people were seriously injured Saturday afternoon in a crash involving a tanker truck on Highway 271, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Accident Details: The crash happened near Farm-to-Market Road 2015 when a passenger vehicle reportedly collided with a tanker truck. Three people from the passenger vehicle were transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. The tanker driver was not injured.
