RENTON, WA (June 25, 2025) – A crash involving a semi-truck and at least one other vehicle disrupted traffic on southbound Interstate 405 in Renton Wednesday afternoon and sent one person to the hospital, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Incident Details: The collision occurred near State Route 169 just before 1:00 p.m., causing multiple lane closures on I-405 southbound. Emergency crews responded to the scene and transported one person to a local hospital. Authorities have not released the identity or condition of the injured individual. The semi-truck was reported to be jackknifed across lanes, and significant debris required extensive cleanup before lanes were reopened.
