Semi-Truck Collision in Tulare County Kills Adelina Flores and Felipe Reyes

Tulare County, CA (January 10, 2025) – Adelina Flores and Felipe Reyes of Lindsay tragically lost their lives on Friday, January 10, 2025, after their vehicle collided with a semi-truck near Road 256 and Avenue 95 in Terra Bella, Tulare County.

Accident Details: Following the crash, both victims were trapped in their car and required extrication by the Tulare County Fire Department. Despite rescue efforts, they succumbed to their injuries.

Legal Considerations: As a personal injury attorney, I find that several aspects of this case warrant further examination. Investigators may examine whether factors such as truck driver negligence, vehicle maintenance issues, or road conditions contributed to the crash. Semi-truck drivers and the companies employing them are held to high safety standards, and a breach of these standards could establish liability.

Additionally, the design and condition of the intersection at Road 256 and Avenue 95 may be reviewed to assess whether traffic controls or roadway design played a role in the collision. Depending on the results of the investigation, the families of Flores and Reyes may consider pursuing a wrongful death claim to hold any negligent parties accountable and seek compensation for their tragic loss.

My sincerest condolences are with the family and friends of Adelina Flores and Felipe Reyes during this heartbreaking time. Flores and Reyes leave behind their three children, and a GoFundMe has been created to support the children. Please contribute if you can.
