Fresno County, CA (April 2, 2025) – Authorities have identified the man killed in a hit-and-run incident in Fowler on March 25 as Oscar Alcoser, 46, also known by the name “Jorge Vasquez,” according to the Fresno County Coroner’s Office. Officials are still attempting to locate his family.
Incident Details: The fatal collision occurred near Adams and 8th Street in the city of Fowler. Alcoser was struck while in the roadway and was later pronounced dead. Authorities report that he was 5’3” and weighed approximately 150 pounds. Despite searching various records, the coroner’s office has been unable to locate any of Alcoser’s next of kin.
Investigation and Legal Considerations: The incident is being investigated as a hit-and-run. Officials have not released information about the vehicle or driver involved, and it’s unclear whether any surveillance footage or witness statements have been gathered.
