San Jose, CA (March 23, 2025) – Six people were injured early Saturday morning in a violent two-vehicle crash in San Jose, involving a stolen vehicle, according to the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Department.
Incident Details: The crash occurred around 2:19 a.m. at the intersection of McKee Road and Jackson Avenue. Deputies had spotted a stolen silver Infiniti near King Road and Marbury Road, but before a traffic stop could be initiated, the vehicle sped off and collided with a Ford at the intersection. Four people were inside the Infiniti and two in the Ford. All six were hospitalized, with two suffering life-threatening injuries. Authorities confirmed there was no pursuit involved.
Investigation and Legal Considerations: The Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Department and the San Jose Police Department are conducting a joint investigation. Factors under review may include the conduct of the driver of the stolen vehicle, any prior criminal activity, and accountability for injuries sustained by the Ford occupants.
