SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Two people were hospitalized after a crash overnight near Southside Park. According to the Sacramento Police Department, the collision occurred just before 12 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of Ninth and T streets.
Incident details show that two vehicles collided, and officers arriving at the scene found two people injured. Both were transported to the hospital for treatment. One individual suffered life-threatening injuries and remains in critical condition, while the other person’s condition has not been released.
The investigation is being conducted by detectives from the Major Collision Investigation Unit along with crime scene investigators. Police confirmed that DUI appears to be a factor in the collision, and they are processing the scene, canvassing the area, and interviewing witnesses.
