Reedley, CA (June 29, 2024) – Tragedy struck near Reedley on Saturday night when a suspected DUI crash resulted in the deaths of two men. The Fresno County Coroner’s Office has identified the victims as 25-year-old Angel Reyes of Dinuba and 36-year-old Andres Rivero Jr. of Reedley.
Accident Details: The crash occurred at the intersection of Englehart and Manning Avenues. The incident unfolded when a Chevrolet Malibu, traveling south on Englehart, failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a Ford F-150 heading west on Manning. The impact of the collision claimed the lives of both Reyes and Rivero Jr., who were inside the Malibu. The occupants of the Ford F-150 sustained minor injuries and are expected to recover fully.
Investigation: The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is currently investigating the role of alcohol in the crash.
