Oxnard, CA (December 22, 2024) – On the evening of Sunday, December 22, 2023, a pedestrian, 58-year-old Cristero Peter Luna of Oxnard, was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Gonzales Road and Williams Drive.
Accident Details: A 25-year-old driver in a 2004 Toyota Camry struck Luna while traveling west on Gonzales Road. Luna was transported to Ventura County Medical Center in critical condition. He succumbed to his injuries the following day. Police have stated that neither drugs nor alcohol appear to have been factors in the incident, and the driver remained at the scene and has not been cited or charged.
