Compton, CA (January 24, 2025) – A tragic pedestrian accident occurred early Friday morning, claiming the life of 48-year-old Valvina Leal.
Accident Details: The incident happened at approximately 12:43 a.m. at the intersection of Rosecrans and Aprilia Avenues. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), Leal was struck by a gray Volkswagen in the truck lane on Rosecrans Avenue. Leal was pronounced dead by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office.
