Soledad, CA (March 17, 2025) – A three-vehicle crash on Highway 101 left one person dead and another seriously injured Sunday night. Authorities identified the deceased as 25-year-old Uriel Morales of Salinas.
Incident Details: The collision occurred on southbound Highway 101, north of Front Street, around 7:44 p.m. One person was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene, while another individual was also ejected and suffered major injuries. Two children were inside a second vehicle but, along with the two other occupants, are expected to be okay. A third vehicle involved in the crash carried two people, one of whom sustained minor injuries.
Investigation and Legal Considerations: Authorities are still working to determine how the crash occurred. Multi-vehicle accidents can involve complex liability issues, and investigators will examine factors such as driver negligence, road conditions, and whether speeding or impairment played a role. In crashes like this, the process of determining fault will be key in identifying responsible parties and assessing potential claims.
My thoughts are with the victims and their families during this difficult time.
