Hancock County, IN (May 18, 2025) – A crash involving a semi-truck and three other vehicles prompted the temporary closure of eastbound Interstate 70 in Hancock County on Sunday evening. At least one person was reported potentially injured.
Incident Details: The crash occurred at approximately 5:04 p.m. near mile marker 100. According to the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT), all eastbound lanes were shut down to allow cleanup and investigation. Authorities said the semi struck a guard rail during the incident. Although at least one injury was initially suspected, medics on scene did not transport any individuals to the hospital.
