Diamond Bar, CA (June 29, 2024) – On June 29, a devastating multi-vehicle collision on the Pomona (60) Freeway resulted in the tragic death of 19-year-old Crystal Cruz Robledo and left two others hospitalized.
Incident Overview: The crash occurred on the eastbound freeway at South Lemon Avenue, east of Fairway Drive. The collision involved a black Tesla and a Honda Civic, which was found overturned and blocking the middle lanes. Emergency responders arrived promptly. Sadly, Robledo was pronounced dead at the scene. The conditions of the two individuals transported to the hospital remain unknown at this time.
Investigation and Implications: The cause of the accident is still under investigation. More information will be released when it becomes available. Depending on the findings of the investigation, Robledo’s family may be able to file a wrongful death claim to recover damages, such as funeral and burial expenses. Similarly, the injured individuals may be able to file personal injury claims.
