Fresno County, CA (June 24, 2025) – A motorcyclist was injured Tuesday morning in a suspected DUI crash on Highway 41 that also caused a pickup truck to overturn, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Incident Details: The crash occurred around 6:30 a.m. near Harlan Ranch Boulevard. CHP investigators say a 24-year-old man from Fresno was driving a Ford F‑150 northbound on Highway 41 when he attempted an unsafe lane change. His truck struck a 29-year-old motorcyclist riding in the next lane.
The impact ejected the motorcyclist from his bike, and the Ford F‑150 overturned, landing upside down in the roadway. The motorcyclist suffered moderate injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital.
The driver of the Ford F‑150 was arrested at the scene on suspicion of driving under the influence.
Investigation and Legal Considerations: CHP is continuing to investigate the crash. Authorities will review toxicology results and physical evidence to determine whether additional charges are warranted. The driver may face both criminal and civil liability for the injuries caused.
