Manteca, CA (July 5, 2025) – Several people were injured Saturday morning in a five-vehicle collision on eastbound Highway 120, just west of Highway 99 in Manteca.
Accident Details: The crash occurred at approximately 9:10 a.m. when one vehicle rear-ended another, setting off a chain reaction that ultimately involved five vehicles. According to the Manteca Fire Department, two people sustained major injuries and were transported to the hospital. Five others suffered minor injuries but declined further medical treatment.
Investigation and Legal Considerations: The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash, including whether speed, distracted driving, or following too closely may have played a role.
