LONG BEACH, CA (June 23, 2025) – A man was struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash early Sunday on the northbound 710 Freeway in Long Beach, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Incident Details: The fatal collision occurred around 2:20 a.m. near the 9th Street off-ramp. Authorities say the man was outside of a vehicle when he was hit by an unknown driver who fled the scene. Emergency personnel responded and pronounced the victim dead at the scene. His identity has not yet been publicly released.
Investigation and Legal Considerations: The California Highway Patrol is investigating and asking for the public’s help in locating the hit-and-run driver.
