Louisville, Kentucky (September 9, 2025) — An off-duty Louisville Metro Police officer was seriously injured Tuesday night in a crash involving a semi-truck, according to authorities.
Incident Details: The collision occurred around 11 p.m. at the intersection of Fern Valley Road and Roederer Drive, a busy industrial corridor often used by commercial trucks. Police reported that the crash involved a Ford F-150, driven by the off-duty officer, and a semi-truck.
