Multiple Hospitalized After Semi-Truck Crash Near Larkspur

Larkspur, CO (July 6, 2025) – Multiple individuals were hospitalized following a crash involving four vehicles, including a semi-truck, just before noon Sunday on I‑25 near mile marker 169 between Greenland Road and Upper Lake Gulch Road.

Accident Details: At around 11:50 a.m., Colorado State Patrol troopers responded to the multi-vehicle collision. The semi-truck and three other vehicles were involved, and several people were transported to hospitals. At least one person suffered potentially serious injuries.

Investigation and Legal Considerations: CSP has issued a citation to the 41-year-old semi-truck driver from Johnstown, CO, pending clarification of the offense. Investigators are reviewing factors such as driver conduct, vehicle interactions, and road conditions. Under Colorado law, drivers involved in serious collisions must stop, render aid, and report the incident. Injured parties may be eligible to pursue legal claims for medical costs or related damages.

I extend my sincere hopes for a swift and full recovery to all those injured.
