Ridgecrest, CA (October 26, 2024) – On October 26, 2024, a tragic hit-and-run incident on West Las Flores Avenue in Ridgecrest claimed the life of 15-year-old Cecilia Toussaint.
Accident Details: The incident occurred in the early morning hours, around 2 a.m. when Ridgecrest Police officers responded to a report and found the young girl unresponsive. Despite immediate CPR efforts by officers, as well as lifesaving measures from Kern County Fire Department and Liberty Ambulance paramedics, Toussaint was pronounced dead at the scene. Police confirm she was hit by a vehicle.
