Lemon Grove, CA (July 22, 2024) – Brian Colvin, 44, of Spring Valley, tragically lost his life following a hit-and-run incident in Lemon Grove.

Deputies arrived to find Colvin lying in the center lane of Broadway, conscious and breathing. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Colvin succumbed to his injuries. The cause of death was determined to be blunt force trauma, and the manner was classified as a homicide. Witnesses reported that Colvin was standing in the roadway, speaking with the occupants of an unidentified vehicle. Then, the vehicle intentionally struck Colvin and fled the scene.
