Goodyear, AZ (June 24, 2025) – Two people were injured Tuesday afternoon when a food truck crashed and exploded after a propane tank ignited in Goodyear, according to local fire officials.
Incident Details: The incident occurred near 75th Avenue and Thomas Road. Authorities say the food truck crashed, and shortly afterward, one of its propane tanks ruptured and exploded. The blast caused significant damage to the truck and sent flames and debris flying into the surrounding area.
Two individuals were injured in the explosion. One was reportedly transported to a burn center in critical condition, while the other sustained moderate injuries. The names of the victims have not been released.
