Bonsall, CA (June 15, 2025) — According to the California Highway Patrol, five individuals were transported for medical treatment Saturday afternoon following a head-on collision that blocked both lanes of Via De La Reina near 7055 Via De La Reina.
Incident Details: The crash occurred around 2:56 p.m. and involved a gray Tesla and a gray Toyota Tundra, which reportedly overturned. Emergency responders arrived on the scene by 3:00 p.m. and confirmed heavy front-end damage to at least one vehicle. Shortly thereafter, a heavy-duty tow truck was requested.
Although the exact nature and severity of the injuries were not confirmed at the time of the initial report, five people were taken for medical care. The wreck caused significant traffic disruption, with both directions of Via De La Reina temporarily blocked.
