Stanislaus County, CA (June 10, 2025) – One person was tragically killed Tuesday morning in a collision involving a vehicle and a train in Stanislaus County, according to authorities.
Incident Details: The California Highway Patrol reported that the crash occurred just after 6:30 a.m. at East Keyes Road and Santa Fe Avenue. A vehicle was traveling eastbound on Keyes Road when, for unknown reasons, it was struck by a northbound train. Emergency responders pronounced the vehicle’s driver dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
Investigation and Legal Considerations: The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Authorities will examine whether the railroad crossing signals were functioning properly and whether the driver failed to heed warning signs.
