Penngrove, CA (July 12, 2024) – A tragic collision on Highway 1 south of Snake Road took the life of Steven Michael Campanali, 57, from Penngrove.
Accident Details and Ongoing Investigation: The accident occurred in the evening. Campanali was riding his motorcycle northbound when he inadvertently crossed into the southbound lane. He collided with a GMC pickup truck. The impact caused Campanali to be ejected from his motorcycle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the accident remains unclear and is currently under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
