Port Wentworth, GA (July 23, 2025) – A crash involving a log truck left one person dead Wednesday afternoon in Port Wentworth, closing Highway 21 for several hours.
Accident Details: According to police, the collision occurred around 4:30 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 21 and International Trade Parkway. A sedan collided with a log truck under circumstances that remain under investigation. One person in the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
The log truck driver was not injured.
