Rany Oeur Killed, Two Others Injured in Fresno Crash

Fresno, CA (July 6, 2025) – A 72-year-old woman was killed and two men were hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash Saturday morning in southeast Fresno, according to authorities.

Accident Details: The crash occurred around 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 6, at the intersection of Huntington and Chestnut avenues. Fresno Police say the collision involved a black Chevy Camaro and a white Lexus sedan. The Lexus sustained significant damage, trapping both occupants inside until Fresno firefighters extricated them.

Rany Oeur, a passenger in the Lexus, was critically injured and later died at the hospital. The 36-year-old driver of the Lexus and the 26-year-old driver of the Camaro were both hospitalized, with the Camaro driver last listed in stable condition.

Investigation and Legal Considerations: Authorities have not yet released details on what caused the crash. Fresno Police are asking witnesses to call their non-emergency dispatch line with any information. In California, individuals injured or killed in car accidents caused by another driver may be entitled to legal remedies, including wrongful death or personal injury claims.

I extend my deepest condolences to the loved ones of Rany Oeur and sincere wishes for recovery to the other individuals injured.
