King City, CA (November 2, 2024) – The California Highway Patrol (CHP) has reported that a 73-year-old man, identified as David Rossi from San Ardo, was killed in a crash on Saturday, November 2, 2024.
Accident Details: The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. while Rossi was driving a 1973 Jeep on a private road near Peach Tree Road. For reasons yet to be determined, the Jeep veered down a steep hill, lost control, and ultimately crashed. Emergency personnel from CAL FIRE arrived on the scene, where Rossi was pronounced dead.
A male passenger in the Jeep at the time of the crash sustained no injuries. CHP stated that neither alcohol nor drugs appear to have contributed to the accident. The investigation is ongoing.
