Reedley, CA (November 2, 2024) – At 2:30 a.m. on November 2, 2024, a tragic accident claimed the life of 22-year-old Miguel Angel Marin, a resident of Sanger.
Accident Details: Marin was driving a 2018 Honda Civic northbound on Reed Avenue, just south of South Avenue in Reedley. His vehicle veered left, and he crossed the southbound lane. Marin then collided with a parked semi-truck on the west dirt shoulder. The collision caused the semi-truck’s trailer to intrude into the passenger side of Marin’s Civic, resulting in critical injuries. Marin was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigation: Authorities confirmed the truck was unoccupied at the time, and neither alcohol nor drugs are believed to be factors in the incident.
