Woman Killed While Crossing Vernon Avenue in South Los Angeles

Los Angeles, CA (May 11, 2025) — A woman in her 50s or 60s was struck and killed early Sunday morning while crossing the street in South Los Angeles, according to local authorities.

Incident Details: The fatal collision occurred around 4:15 a.m. in the 1300 block of East Vernon Avenue. Police say the woman was crossing the street when an eastbound vehicle struck her.
