Seneca County, NY (July 26, 2025) – A tractor-trailer crash shut down westbound lanes of the New York State Thruway early Friday morning in Seneca County, causing major traffic disruption and prompting a response from multiple emergency crews.
Accident Details: According to New York State Police, the crash occurred around 3:15 a.m. near mile marker 318 between Exits 41 and 42. A tractor-trailer left the roadway and came to rest in a ditch. Westbound lanes were closed for hours while crews worked to recover the truck and clear the scene.
