Modesto, CA (March 17, 2024) – Timoteo Alvarez Torres, 32, of Ceres was killed in a collision with a semi-truck on Morgan Road at Nelson Way late Friday afternoon. The crash occurred at approximately 5:30 p.m., just north of the Ceres city border.
Incident Details: According to the Modesto Police Department, Alvarez Torres was driving a Ford Mustang southbound on Morgan Road when his vehicle collided with a northbound semi-truck. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The truck driver sustained minor injuries. Authorities have not yet released further details on what led to the crash, and the investigation remains ongoing.
Alvarez Torres leaves behind four young children. His wife, Benita, has started a GoFundMe campaign, stating, “His passing has left an unimaginable void in our hearts and lives. As I navigate this overwhelming grief, I am also faced with the financial burden of funeral expenses and the challenge of providing stability for our children.”
