Danvers, MA (July 21, 2025) – A serious crash involving a box truck and a tractor-trailer shut down part of Interstate 95 southbound near Centre Street in Danvers on Monday evening.
Accident Details: According to the Danvers Fire Department, three people were injured but are expected to recover. Their injuries were described as non-life-threatening. One of the drivers became trapped in their vehicle and required extrication by firefighters. Photos from the scene show significant damage to both trucks, with the front of the tractor-trailer crumpled and partially off the roadway.
Investigation and Legal Considerations: A collision between two commercial vehicles raises serious concerns about visibility, reaction time, and vehicle handling. Investigators will likely examine:
