Milpitas, CA (March 14, 2025) – A 41-year-old woman from San Jose died early Friday morning in a multi-vehicle crash on southbound Interstate 880 near Tasman Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Incident Details: The collision occurred around 3:55 a.m. when two vehicles initially collided, one of which struck a tire that was already in the roadway. Following the initial crash, additional vehicles became involved. The CHP confirmed that the San Jose woman was fatally injured in the wreck. Her identity has not been released pending notification of her family. The crash blocked all but one lane on the freeway, with full reopening around 6:55 a.m.
