SAN DIEGO, Calif. — A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a hit-and-run collision Sunday evening. According to the San Diego Police Department, the crash happened just before 8 p.m. at the intersection of Texas Street and El Cajon Boulevard.
Incident details show that a 25-year-old man was riding a Yamaha motorcycle northbound on Texas Street when he was struck by a driver in a Mercedes-Benz that was traveling westbound on El Cajon Boulevard. The Mercedes driver fled the scene without stopping. The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries, including fractures, but was expected to survive.
