Incident Details: Police say the crash occurred at approximately 12:15 a.m. when the woman, riding a Yamaha motorcycle eastbound on Poway Road, entered the intersection at Sabre Springs Parkway and struck the driver’s side door of a Mitsubishi Montero SUV. Investigators determined the motorcyclist was facing a red signal, while the SUV driver had a green arrow. The motorcycle’s speed at the time of impact remains under review. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, and the man was transported to a hospital where he later died.
