Robert Kerman, residente en Palm Desert, muere en un accidente de moto en Palm Springs

Palm Springs, CA (March 20, 2024) – Authorities identified 71-year-old Robert Kerman of Palm Desert as the motorcyclist who died following a collision in Palm Springs. The Riverside County coroner’s office confirmed Kerman’s identity after the accident that occurred on the evening of Wednesday.

Collision Details: The Palm Springs Police Department responded to the crash site at the intersection of East Amado Road and North Hermosa Drive at 9:21 p.m. Preliminary investigations suggest a vehicle turned in front of Kerman, leading to the collision. Kerman was transported to Desert Regional Medical Center but tragically succumbed to his injuries en route.

Investigation and Analysis: Lt. Gustavo Araiza of the Palm Springs Police Department indicated that while the initial assessment points to the vehicle turning in front of Kerman as a significant factor, the primary cause of the collision is still under investigation. Authorities have stated that drugs and alcohol were not suspected to be involved in the crash. Based on the preliminary information, Robert Kerman’s family may be able to pursue a wrongful death claim for their loss. This includes things like medical costs, pain and suffering, and loss of companionship.

My thoughts are with the family and friends of Robert Kerman following this tragic accident. I hope they receive the support they need during this difficult time.
