Pinal County, AZ (June 26, 2025) – Toby Harper, 17, and Haley Davis, 19, both of San Tan Valley, were killed Thursday evening in a collision involving a sedan and a truck near Gantzel Road and Skyline Drive.
Accident Details: The crash occurred when one sedan reportedly made a lane change that caused the other vehicle, driven by Harper with Davis as his passenger, to lose control and veer into southbound lanes. That vehicle then collided with a truck. Both teens were pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities stated that impairment is not believed to be a factor in the collision.
Investigation and Legal Considerations: The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident, and the medical examiner ruled both deaths accidental, citing multiple blunt force injuries. In Arizona, fatal collisions involving commercial or personal trucks often involve an analysis of driver behavior, road position, and crash dynamics.
