Bakersfield, CA (July 6, 2025) – A pedestrian was struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash Friday night in South Bakersfield, according to police.
Accident Details: The crash occurred around 9:00 p.m. on Friday, July 5, on White Lane near Hughes Lane. When officers arrived, they found a man lying in the roadway. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The vehicle involved had fled before emergency personnel arrived.
The identity of the pedestrian has not yet been released.
