Solano County, CA (November 14, 2024) – On the morning of Thursday, November 14, 2024, Jimmy Contreras, a 26-year-old Vacaville resident, tragically lost his life after running into traffic on eastbound Interstate 80, west of Air Base Parkway.
Accident Details: The California Highway Patrol reported that Contreras was fatally struck by a vehicle around 4:50 a.m. Emergency responders closed the interstate and redirected traffic onto Air Base Parkway.
