Indio, CA (February 14, 2025) – A devastating head-on crash in Indio early Friday morning left one person dead and two others severely injured.
Accident Details: The collision occurred just before 6 a.m. at the intersection of Fred Waring Drive and Avenue 44, according to the Indio Police Department. According to reports, an eastbound BMW sedan driven by a 45-year-old man swerved into the westbound traffic lane. The BMV collided head-on with a Nissan Sentra. A woman passenger in the BMW succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The BMW driver sustained serious injuries but is now stable. The 37-year-old Nissan driver is still in critical condition.
