Nine Injured, Two Seriously, in Three-Vehicle Crash on Roscoe Boulevard in San Fernando Valley

San Fernando Valley, CA (April 18, 2025) – A violent three-car crash in the San Fernando Valley Thursday night left nine people injured, including two with serious injuries, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Accident Details: The crash occurred shortly after 9:00 p.m. in the 13300 block of Roscoe Boulevard. Fire crews arrived on scene to find multiple vehicles with extensive damage, including a white van and two heavily damaged cars positioned on opposite sides of the road. A large debris field was visible at the scene, and one of the damaged vehicles appeared to have been partially lodged beneath the van.

A total of nine people were hurt in the collision. Five were transported to local hospitals with minor injuries, while two others were hospitalized in serious condition. Details about the remaining two injured individuals were not immediately available.

Legal Considerations: In multi-vehicle collisions with multiple injuries, investigators typically evaluate speed, road conditions, driver conduct, and whether any drivers failed to yield or made unsafe maneuvers. If reckless driving or impairment is later confirmed, those found responsible may face both criminal charges and civil liability.

The seriously injured victims may be eligible to pursue personal injury claims for medical treatment, lost wages, and pain and suffering.

Ongoing Investigation: Authorities have not yet released information about the cause of the crash or the identities of those involved. It is unknown at this time whether alcohol, drugs, or speed contributed to the incident. The LAPD is expected to review video footage and physical evidence from the scene as part of the ongoing investigation.

I hope all those injured in the crash recover quickly and fully.Source: KTLA
