Napa Valley, CA (June 8, 2024) – A crash near a vineyard in Napa Valley on Saturday killed one and injured five others.
Accident Details: The crash occurred late Saturday afternoon on Silverado Trail near Silverado Vineyards. A driver of a Toyota Sienna minivan driving south swerved into the northbound lane. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that the minivan collided with a BMW. The driver of the Toyota walked away on foot after the crash. Fairfield resident Hipolita Perez, a 46-year-old woman who was a passenger in the Toyota, was killed. The other three passengers in the minivan were injured, including a 19-year-old with major injuries. The driver of the SUV, a 62-year-old man, suffered major injuries, and his passenger, a 62-year-old woman, suffered minor injuries. The injured were taken to the hospital.
