Butte County, CA (June 27, 2024) – A devastating head-on motorcycle crash on Skyway north of Powellton Road in Butte County killed 31-year-old Aaron Dillon in the evening hours of Thursday, July 27.
Accident Details: A juvenile from Magalia was driving in the northbound lane on Skyway. For reasons yet to be determined, Stirling City resident Aaron Dillon also entered the northbound lane, resulting in a devastating head-on collision between the two motorcycles. Both motorcyclists were transported to Enloe Hospital. Unfortunately, Dillon succumbed to his injuries. The juvenile was later transferred to U.C. Davis for further treatment.
Investigation: The cause of the accident is still being investigated.
