Lake View Terrace, CA (August 20, 2025) – A multiple-vehicle crash on the Foothill (210) Freeway in Lake View Terrace early Wednesday morning left four people injured, including two in critical condition.
Accident Details: The crash was reported around 5:26 a.m. on the westbound 210 Freeway east of Wheatland Avenue. All lanes west of Foothill Boulevard were shut down as first responders worked at the scene.
Four patients were transported by ground or air. Two were in critical condition, one in serious condition, and one in fair condition. Their identities have not been released.
Investigation and Legal Considerations: Investigators will work to establish whether speeding, distraction, impairment, or sudden lane changes contributed to the multi-vehicle pileup. With several vehicles involved, accident reconstruction will help determine how the collisions unfolded and which vehicles were struck first.
