Fresno, CA (April 27, 2025) – A man riding an electric scooter was hospitalized Saturday night after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run collision in central Fresno.
Incident Details: The crash occurred around 9:30 p.m. near McKenzie Avenue and First Street. According to the Fresno Police Department, a man in his 30s was riding an electric scooter when a car traveling northbound on First Street hit him. The driver fled the scene immediately. The victim was taken to Community Regional Medical Center with moderate to major injuries. Police described the suspect vehicle as a light-colored SUV.
